God gives and gives

  1. God gives us all that is beautiful, helpful, and useful to us: “Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?” (Romans 8:32; NIV)
  2. God gives you eternal life: “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16; NIV)
  3. God gives you righteousness: “For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one man, Jesus Christ.” (Romans 5:17; KJV)
  4. God gives you the victory over sin and death: “But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Corinthians 15:57; NLT)
  5. Jesus gives you blamelessness: “you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault.” (Colossians 1:22; NIV)
  6. Jesus gives you everything for life and for godliness: “By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.” (2 Peter 1:3; NLT)
  7. You can rely on God; He amply supplies: “Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.” (1 Timothy 6:17; NIV)
