Carry me, my shepherd, through the meadows full of fragrant flowers.
Carry me, my shepherd, through the woods with tall trees.
Carry me, my shepherd, across the snow-capped mountains.
Carry me, my shepherd, over the clear, babbling brook.
Carry me, my shepherd, through the deserts without water.
Carry me, my shepherd. Carry me today.

Carry me, my shepherd, all my life.
Carry me, my shepherd, on your strong shoulders where my pain ceases.
Carry me, my shepherd, hold me tight with both hands.

Carry me, my shepherd. Carry me.

Jesus is the good shepherd who carries us

Jesus is the Good Shepherd (John 10:11) and He joyfully carries us on His strong shoulders. It doesn’t matter what you’ve done. It doesn’t matter how much alcohol you’ve had. It doesn’t matter how much pornography you’ve watched. It doesn’t matter how many one-night-stands you’ve had. No matter how many times you’ve lied. Come home to the arms of your good shepherd. He loves to carry you.

“Save your people and bless your inheritance; be their shepherd and carry them forever.” (Psalm 28:9; NIV)
