Jesus Christ has done two things for you with His sacrifice: He has carried all your sicknesses and diseases in His body, so that you are healthy (we are healed by His stripes).

And with His blood shed on the cross, He washed you clean of all sinful guilt, so that you are holy (sanctified once and for all).

“who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” (Psalm 103:3-5; NIV)

Remember His sacrifice with the Communion

The attacks from the demonic headquarters are manifold and take place without end. Again and again, we need to believe in the glorious grace of Jesus. With the communion (you can / should take it daily), you keep reminding yourself of what Jesus has done for you.

“And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, ‘This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.’ In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.'” (Jesus in Luke 22:19-20; NIV)

Do you take communion once a week in church (or even rarer)? Do you have so much time to go through the hail of fiery arrows that devils and demons fire against you, without any active, believing reminder of the sacrifice of Jesus for your protection and healing?

Increase your awareness of what Jesus did for you by taking communion. Jesus took away all your infirmities and guilt 2,000 years ago once and for all. That’s why the gospel is called the Good News. You are free.
