God will not let you fall. As Jesus’ sheep you belong to Him

September 8, 2018 Reading Time: < 1 minute

Jesus in John 14:16 (NIV)

If you believe in the finished work of Jesus, you become a daughter or son of God: “to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God” (John 1:12; NIV)

“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.” (Jesus in John 10:27-29; NIV)

In the moment of the acceptance of Jesus as your Savior through faith, you receive the Holy Spirit, who seals your true self, your spirit created in God’s image. The Holy Spirit will never leave you again: “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever” (Jesus in John 14:16; NIV)

God is not lying. The Bible is true (John 10:35). You can count on God and His promises. It’s called eternal security. Hallelujah!

You are righteous before God through Jesus (Col 1:22) • Righteous and holy through Jesus before God. Religious people: I don’t care. I will keep asking forgiveness of my sins

“Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.” (Psalm 119:160; KJV)
