Psalm 28:9 in the New Living Translation reads: “…Lead them like a shepherd, and carry them in your arms forever.”
That’s what Jesus wants to do for you. Let Him be your shepherd and let Him carry you in His loving, strong arms. A shepherd cares for His sheep, risks His life for His sheep and provides for them. Jesus is the good and perfect Shepherd. And we never have to be afraid of coming to Him — no matter how messed up we are — He gladly welcomes us home. Read the parable of the lost sheep in Luke 15 and build your faith, knowing that Jesus is this good shepherd.
