“Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” (Psalm 23:4; NIV)
God does not send you through a dark valley of depression or hopelessness. On the contrary. God helps us, no matter what we go through. Jesus is our comprehensive, loving Shepherd, who leads us safely. It’s often our wrong decisions that lead us into calamities. We chose the wrong life partner… we conducted a risky fnancial transaction out of greed… even if we, through wrong decisions, have strayed from the right path and now have to go through the dark valley, there is no blame from Jesus.
Jesus doesn’t tell you 9 times, I told you so.
Jesus doesn’t let you walk through the dark valley all alone.
He is there to protect you, help you and guide you. You can talk to Him about anything.
