You will keep him in perfect peace – Isaiah 26:3

December 3, 2018 Reading Time: < 1 minute

God wants to give us His abundant help and blessings. But when blessings don’t seem to flow, it’s not God who is wanting to withhold anything from us. It’s because we don’t trust our loving Heavenly Father — without our ifs, ands or buts.

What is perfect peace?

If we trust God, then we have glorious peace:

“You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!” (Isaiah 26:3; NLT)

  • God prepares a table in the presence of your enemies
  • What is faith? And how do you strengthen it?

But if we doubt… well, read for yourself what we get when we doubt God’s protection and care for us: “But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.” (James 1:6-8; NIV)
