Many Jesus-believers are being robbed by the devil (John 10:10). And many Jesus-believers start questioning their identity in Jesus because of the devil’s lies. But if we accept Jesus as our Savior, not only are we blameless (Romans 8:1) and holy before God (Colossians 1:22), but we are His children forever (John 10:27-29).

“The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, ‘Abba, Father.'”
(Romans 8:15; NIV)

Romans 8:15

Fear and guilt go hand-in-hand

As a Jesus-sheep, you don’t have to be afraid anymore. You are reconciled to God forever. A person only has fear if they feel guilty and are afraid of punishment. • Sin-consciousness and fear go hand-in-hand

But through Jesus (who is grace, John 1:17), there is no charge against you; Jesus was accused on your behalf and severely punished.

Become aware of this undeserved grace that God and Jesus give you… and the fruit of the Spirit will manifest more and more in your life. You sin less. And when you sin, it’s less and less appealing. The sinful bondages with which devils and demons harass you have less and less influence on you. • First forgiveness, then less sin
