We can look out of the window on the train, but we can’t see what lies ahead. Is there a stop? Is there a fallen tree on the tracks? We don’t know. And we also don’t know when our life train continues from the stop loneliness, worries, sadness, financial hardship. We ask the conductor. ‘Yeah,’ he assures us, ‘Be patient. We will arrive.’

Habakkuk 2:3

“If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed.” (God in Habakkuk 2:3; NLT)

So, you restless passenger, don’t be worried. Don’t be afraid that you won’t arrive. Have patience and trust in your God. And look forward to when your train will pick up speed again after the unscheduled stops and you can enjoy the ride again.
