Jesus has taken away all barriers between us and God.
Anyone who believes in the finished work of Jesus is complete and forever reconciled to God, for Jesus has taken upon Himself the punishment of all our sins with His death on the cross. Now we who call Him our Savior will never be condemned or punished again.
“who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”
– Psalm 103:3-5
Through the resurrection from death, the consequence of sin (the eternal separation from God, which will ultimately be the case in hell), Jesus overcame death for us as well.
We have eternal life in the glorious creation of God, which at the end of the millennial kingdom will be cleansed of demonic influence once and for all.
