What does the Bible say about hell?

The Bible is very clear: we have only this life, only these few decades, in which we can choose Jesus. By accepting His finished work on the cross, we can be forever reconciled to God, so that hell is no longer an issue for us:

“Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.” (Hebrews 9:27-28; NIV)

Reading tip: How can a loving God send people to hell? God doesn’t send anyone to hell. People make the wrong choice.

Or in another translation:

“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.” (KJV)

The devil hates us and wants to see us end up in hell. Thus, he spreads the lie that there is a reincarnation. In other words, Oh, you don’t have to choose Jesus for this life; take your time, you still have many lives. – But in line with his character, the devil is spreading lies to harm people.

Reading tip: What is reincarnation? and what does the Bible say about it?

Reincarnation is a lie from the demonic headquarters

There is no reincarnation. We have this life, and then we die and either we have previously decided believing in Jesus as our Savior (so off to heaven), or we did not care, then we get into the realm of the dead (a kind of ‘waiting room’, before at the end of this time, they go to hell / lake of fire forever).
