House built on the solid foundation of Jesus - Matthew 7:24-27

Those who say only “Lord, Lord” to Jesus have not accepted (yet) what Jesus offers: the forgiveness of all sins and reconciliation with God.

  • Reconciled with God

For those who believe in the finished work of Jesus, hell is no longer an issue for them (Romans 8:1, Colossians 1:22). And God’s protection, blessings and provision are already available to them in this life. One hundred times, as Jesus points out (Mark 10:29-30).

“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.” (Jesus in Matthew 7:24-27; NIV)

What are you building your future and present on? On the sure rock Jesus?
