In Jeremiah 32:40 in the NIV Bible translation, it says: “I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never stop doing good to them, and I will inspire them to fear me, so that they will never turn away from me.”
God has made an everlasting covenant with us through Christ. It doesn’t end when we sin or fall short. It is everlasting. And in this new covenant, God promises to never stop doing good to us and to inspire us to revere Him, so we never turn away.
