In peace I will lie down and sleep – Psalm 4:8

April 7, 2019 Reading Time: < 1 minute

Psalm 4:8; New International Version (NIV)

Don’t go to bed in the evening with the worries and cares from the day. Instead, give all your worries to God; He cares about every detail in your life (“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” – 1 Peter 5:7; NIV).

“And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:7; NIV)

It’s easy

You just have to decide if you believe God and His glorious promises, or if you want to doubt His promises. If you choose to believe God without ifs, ands or buts, then you will enter more and more into the glorious rest of God, and the peace of God will fill you more and more.

“In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.”
(Psalm 4:8; NIV)

Have a good night’s sleep.
