What to do during time of distress and lack?

As Jesus-believers, we are under the mighty protection of God (Luke 10:19-20). As Jesus-believers, we are no longer citizens of the earthly, natural world, but citizens of God’s kingdom (Philippians 3:20) and believers in Jesus we can never be lost again (Ephesians 2:8-9). But nevertheless, from time to time, we distress and lack.

It happens to you. It happens to me. It happened to Paul 2,000 years ago. He hit the nail on the head:

“We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.” (2 Corinthians 4:8-9; NIV)

So what should we do? Believe, full of faith, your Heavenly Father. He makes all things work together for our good (Romans 8:28).
