“For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.” – God in Hebrews 8:12; NIV

Hebrews 8:12

Are saved Christians still sinners? Or are they saints?

And so nobody can overlook it, God repeated this truth a couple chapters later: “Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.” – God in Hebrews 10:17; NIV

Unfortunately, so many religious people crawl to God and beg for forgiveness of their sins, as if the tremendous sacrifice of Jesus did not completely wash away and forgive all of our sins forever.

These religious people deny what Jesus did for them.

A Jesus-believer no longer needs to beg for something that has long been given to them. Instead, full of joy and gratitude, they thank Jesus for the forgiveness of their sins and ask for guidance and empowerment to sin less and less.

We are not sinners anymore who need forgiveness; we are saints who unfortunately still sin from time to time. Become more and more aware of this identity you have in Christ.
