God’s plan for you

April 23, 2018 Reading Time: < 1 minute

God's plan for you - Jeremiah 29:11

By believing in what Jesus did for you (the complete reconciliation with God), you became the child of God: “But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.” (John 1:12; NLT)

And God has a plan for you as His beloved daughter or as His beloved son.

Definitely something bad, the devil murmurs. No, that’s like everything that comes from the devil, a lie. Because God has a wonderful plan for us:

“‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'” (God in Jeremiah 29:11; NIV)

As long as you as a Jesus-believer are still afraid, you have not (yet) completely realized that there is absolutely nothing obstructive between you and God. From the moment you faithfully accept Jesus as your Savior, you are righteous, blameless and holy before God (Colossians 1:22). There is no condemnation or punishment for you (Romans 8:1). There is no more punishment for you because Jesus took all the punishments on your behalf.
