Jesus carried our sins and sicknesses in His own body

June 2, 2017 Reading Time: < 1 minute

Isaiah 53:5

Isaiah 53:5 in the New International Version reads, “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.”

On the cross, Jesus carried our sins and our sicknesses in His very own body, so we could be set free.
