Jesus did not come to judge the world, but to save the world – John 12:47

January 7, 2019 Reading Time: < 1 minute

Even Christians easily forget the most important thing, namely:

“I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world.” (Jesus in John 12:47; NIV)

Fear is very bad. Fear paralyzes, fear robs the joy of life and energy. Organized religion has made God seem like a bad-tempered, punitive judge. But Jesus put the facts right again: God loves us. God wants us to be saved. God has sent Jesus so that we can place all of our guilt on Jesus.

All sins forgiven. Once and for all

God has punished all of our guilt in Jesus. Once and for all. Do not forget that. God does not hold anything against you anymore. You are blameless, just and holy before God.

  • Jesus, the highest majesty, sacrificed Himself for you. And you think that by not eating pork you can add anything to the sacrifice of Jesus?
  • Sin-consciousness and fear go hand in hand

Build your relationship with God on this glorious foundation that Jesus acquired for you. You do not have to be afraid of God anymore. Not today.
