Our freedom was purchased with the blood of Jesus Christ

October 24, 2017 Reading Time: < 1 minute

Ephesians 1:7
Ephesians 1:7 says: “He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins.” (NLT)

God the Father wants to have a relationship with you. He doesn’t want this relationship to be based on a list of rules, but He wants it to be based on His Son, Jesus. God wants to be your Father and He wants to be close to you. This means that you have a living relationship with Him where you can talk to Him about anything — your hopes, your fears, your dreams, your worries, your life. You can discuss everything with Him.

Don’t live in the Old Covenant where people were afraid of God; live in the New Covenant where our freedom was purchased with the blood of God’s own Son and all of our sins (past, present and future) have been forgiven. • God does not change; His covenant with us humans changed.
