John 3:18 (NIV)

“Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.” – John 3:18; NIV

When you accept the finished work of Jesus for yourself (that He carried all of your sins and has made you righteous, holy, blameless, and forever reconciled you with God), you are free from condemnation.

The Bible tell us that whoever believes (not whoever keeps the 10 Commandments, or whoever doesn’t eat pork, or whoever keeps the Sabbath), but whoever believes is not condemned. Why? Because Jesus carried all of our condemnation on the cross. He was slaughtered, so that we could stand completely righteous before God. Thanks to Jesus, we are no longer sinners who get accused or condemned. We are saints, who unfortunately still sin from time to time. What a beautiful, wonderful Savior!
