Our God is the Great Encourager. He gives us biblically-based hope. It is God who makes the weak strong. It is God who gives the hopelessly desperate an eternal certainty of their salvation. He takes the broken parts of us and heals them with His love.
“A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out.” (Isaiah 42:3 NIV about Jesus)
God fills the afraid, scared and cowardly with courage: “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (God in Isaiah 41:10; NIV) • Fear is unnecessary because the almighty Almighty is on our side
