It is the Holy Spirit who gives one or more gifts to each Jesus sheep.
“To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.” (1 Corinthians 12:8-11; NIV)
Did you read the above Bible passage carefully? “as he determines”, it says there about the giving of the gifts • The spiritual gifts are distributed by the Holy Spirit (Person of the Divine Trinity)
The gift given to you gives you strength. Remember, the Holy Spirit is always there to help you in becoming the person whom God had in mind when He created you: “And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” (2 Corinthians 3:18; NIV)
