When the waters of sadness are up to your neck

July 5, 2019 Reading Time: < 1 minute

Isaiah 43:2 (NIV)

Nowhere in the Bible do God or Jesus tell us that we have no problems in our lives. On the contrary, Jesus indicates that we will have hardship and distress. The point is, God and Jesus are always helping us. They lead us out of every valley better than we can even imagine.

So, if the water of sadness is up to your neck, when the fire of hopelessness blazes wildly around you, then this is your biblically based certainty: “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.” (God in Isaiah 43:2; NIV)

  • God loves to help you
  • Horoscopes, crystals and amulets? Useless. God? Almighty, all powerful, all loving. God will help you through this hardship.

Trust your God with confidence; it is about Him and not about external circumstances, which are only temporary and can change so quickly.

Our Prayers are a Sign of our Faith

May 31, 2019 Reading Time: < 1 minute

As you read the Bible, you are constantly encountering people who prayed. Elijah, Elisha, Paul, Peter… you, too, should pray. What is praying? Praying is not the repetition of memorized words, but the personal conversation with your Creator.

“if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14; NIV)

If it matters to you, then it matters to God, too. And nothing is too small and nothing is too big for you to discuss with God. And you should discuss everything with Him because He cares for you.

2 Chronicles 7:14 (NIV)

Don’t doubt that God will help you better than you could have even imagined. • God wants to give you immeasurably more than you can ask or imagine

“But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7 That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8 Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.” (James 1:6-8; NIV)

Say (!) this: Thank You, my God, that You hear me and help me.

God is not complicated

May 17, 2019 Reading Time: < 1 minute

The fact that most people don’t understand God is not because God is complicated. God is not complicated; most people just don’t understand Him. But that too is not due to God. God wants to give each person understanding:

“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” (James 1:5; NIV)

The devil always makes everything complicated and confusing. Everything is very simple and clear with God.

But the book of Revelation is complicated.
No, not at all. The book of Revelation in two words: We win

  • What do the 7 Seals in Revelation mean?

Step out of the demonic-fueled darkness and confusion, and step into the liberating light and a living relationship with God where you can talk to Him about anything and He is your Friend who gladly listens and helps.

James 1:5 (NIV)

Many “Christians” believe atheist environmentalists but not Father God

May 15, 2019 Reading Time: 2 minutes

Genesis 9:8-11 (NIV)

There is no end of the world. God’s Word is clear: “Never again will I curse the ground because of humans, even though every inclination of the human heart is evil from childhood. And never again will I destroy all living creatures, as I have done. As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease.” (God in Genesis 8:21-22; NIV)

And let us not forget that God’s promise came true: Jesus came to forever reconcile with God anyone who takes hold of His helpfully outstretched hand, and saves them for a glorious life in God’s presence.

Why do “Christians” not believe God’s promise?

The modern version of the Golden Calf worship: “Christians,” without realizing it (because devils and demons are subtle), slip more and more into the worship of creation through exaggerated animal rights and extreme environmental protection and lose contact with the Creator.

  • God is the Creator
  • Does God change His mind?

Many of these “Christians” are also unaware that the majority of the so-called environmentalists, who have no problem with the pagan concept of “Mother Nature,” but vehemently deny God as sovereign, are atheists.

Why do these “Christians” believe such atheists with the hysterical talk of the alleged end of the world that is supposedly bound to happen unless man intervenes. But they don’t believe God and His Word: “Then God said to Noah and to his sons with him: ‘I now establish my covenant with you and with your descendants after you and with every living creature that was with you—the birds, the livestock and all the wild animals, all those that came out of the ark with you—every living creature on earth. I establish my covenant with you: Never again will all life be destroyed by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth.'” (God in Genesis 9:8-11; NIV)

Believe God and His promises

The promise of God is for all of eternity. He Himself says, “This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come” (God in Genesis 9:12; NIV). “For all generations to come”… does that sound like forever or that there is an end of the world?

Don’t be seduced

If you have taken the wrong path of worshiping the creation instead of the Creator, find your way back to God. Much like in the story of the prodigal son, Father God is waiting for you with open arms.

Don’t align with what you are being told in the worldly circles; instead, believe your Heavenly Father. The Bible puts it in a nutshell: “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” (Romans 12:2; NLT)

It is so sad: In many, many churches, there is more preaching about animal rights and environmental protection than about Jesus and His sacrifice for us • Was Jesus a Vegan?
