Romans 4:8

Romans 4:8 says: “Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.” (KJV)

Once we have accepted the redemptive work of Christ on the cross for ourselves, God will never impute sin to us ever again. The Greek word for “never” in this verse is a double negative, meaning “never, not at all, not even a possibility.” There is not even a possibility of God imputing sin to us once we’re saved through Christ.

Why? Not because God has gone soft on sin; but because God has punished all of our sins in the body of Jesus Christ on the cross.
