What do you believe? Does God give you refreshing strength every day? Yes, He does. He loves to give. Or we have to say that God is lying. Because in His word, He gives us this reassuring statement:
“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” (Jeremiah chapter 17, verses 7-8; NIV)
Even when everything in life seems to crumble and seem hopeless, if it crumbles and clatters and looks very bleak, even in times of drought — whether your finances have dried up, or your health — you don’t have to be afraid.
God is always providing for you and is by your side. Do you believe that? Or do you weaken your beliefs (still) with “yes, but…”?
