If you have truly accepted the sacrifice of Jesus for your sanctification before God (that is more than just saying “Lord, Lord”), then you are immovably saved and sealed with the Holy Ghost:
“And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever” (Jesus in John 14:16; NIV)
God is with you
God (for the Holy Spirit is a person of the Divine Trinity) is in and with you. “Don’t you know … that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?” (1 Corinthians 3:16; NIV)
“And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.” (2 Corinthians 3:18; NLT) • Let the Holy Spirit work for you. You did not receive the Holy Spirit for a limited time, but you received Him for all eternity. He never leaves you. Let Him work (don’t interfere with it with doubt, anxiety or worry). He is here to help you in every way. “But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control.” (Galatians 5:22-23; NLT) • The fruit of the Holy Spirit
Also joy?
Naturally. For “Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” (Nehemiah 8:10; NIV). And much more. Because: “Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” (Psalm 37, verse 4; NIV)
