Wouldn’t life be so much easier if Jesus was sitting on your couch, while you go to the kitchen and get a fresh cup of coffee, you’re talking to Jesus and Jesus is listening to you. Jesus gives you advice on how to deal with this or that. And He says, ‘Of course, I’ll help you.’

“Lord, sustain me as you promised, that I may live! Do not let my hope be crushed.” (Psalm 119:116; NLT)

Actually it is like that. It’s the same except for a single point. You don’t see Jesus. But otherwise everything is as described above.

And you should even be glad that you don’t see Jesus. For the reward, if we believe without seeing, is great: “You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me.” (Jesus to Thomas in John 20:29; NLT)

You don’t have to see Jesus.
You don’t have to feel Jesus.
You just have to believe that what Jesus says to you is that He is with you, that He has overcome all earthly afflictions for you, and that He has made sure that you can never be lost and are forever a daughter or a son of God.
Do you believe that?
Or do you want to believe only when you see?
