There is nothing we need to do for God to love us. Why? He just loves us. We can not do anything to make God love us more. Why? It’s impossible to love more than how God loves us.

Overcomers bring God joy

So it doesn’t matter what we do? Of course not.
First of all, the more we recognize God’s love for us and what we receive through it, the more joyful and grateful we become and keep ourselves ever closer and closer to our Creator.
And: Overcomers impress our God.
Overcomer? Yes. If we trust in Him throughout all the problems and difficulties that we encounter in our earthly, worldly life.

“All who are victorious will inherit all these blessings, and I will be their God, and they will be my children.” (Revelation 21:7; NLT).

We all (do not think you are an exception) have problems. We all struggle from time to time. And we all wonder why God seems to do nothing and does not intervene with help (ask Job).

No problem is greater than God’s help for you

You can be certain: God will help you.
But not always as you would like (but even better).
God also does not help you according to your schedule, but according to His much better schedule.
Does it always please us? At first, no. Afterwards, we see that God (once again) was right.
Job, for example, had twice (!) as many material things at the end of the test. But more importantly, he had grown tremendously spiritually, because he had seen that he could rely entirely on his Creator.

Problems, difficulties, disasters in your life are always tests that God allows for you to grow spiritually.

And: God will rejoice when you have overcome these problems. He is certainly as proud of you as we are here as parents on earth, when our daughters or sons have achieved something good.

Moreover: Faith must be very important. Otherwise, God would not care so much. And make so many efforts to strengthen and develop our faith. It’s likely that we won’t recognize until we get to heaven just how great it is that we already had opportunities to strengthen our faith. So, do not look at problems as an annoyance (yes, yes, I know, of course, problems can be annoying sometimes), but see them as a great way to expand your faith and faith in your loving Heavenly Father.

Can you lose?
Not as a believer with God

And if we fail?
Do not worry.
God will not love us any less.
We have just missed a chance to impress Him at the moment, but that does not take away from His boundless love for us.
Do you know Peter? The faith-giant? Three times he (who belonged to Jesus’ inmost circle) denied Jesus. 3 times. And Jesus? He loved and loves him. So you cannot do anything that would affect the love of Jesus for you.

And how do we defeat the problems of the earthly world?
Like this: “For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith. And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.” (1 John 5:4-5; NLT)

Strengthen your faith. Think about your Savior and Friend Jesus daily, about His boundless love for you, about the completely undeserved grace that Jesus is eager to give you.
Because Jesus has defeated the world and all its adversities and problems for you (John 16:33). You’re welcome to tell Him (and believe!) that as the Manager of your life, He leads your life in every respect to a grand victory. Forget your earthly, worldly strategies, give Jesus your problems. He will show you how to overcome everything successfully.
