No more guilt

November 30, 2017 Reading Time: < 1 minute

“…God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross.” (Colossians 2:13-14; NIV)

Colossians 2:13-14

The heart of the Gospel: Everyone who – through faith – accepts what Jesus did for them is complete, forever and irreversibly righteous before God and reconciled with Him. Your guilt would be an obstacle to receiving God’s blessings because your sin separates you from God and His blessings. But since took Jesus all your guilt upon Himself, there is no obstacle between you and God anymore. Take a bath in the boundless love and undeserved grace, that God gives you.

That’s why God says: “And I will forgive their wickedness, and I will never again remember their sins.” (Hebrews 8:12; NLT)

The more you realize that, the more God’s love and grace flows into your life and the less you will desire to sin.
