John 3:18 says, “Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.” (NIV)
Because of Jesus’ redeeming work on the cross, we who believe and accept His work for us, will never, ever be condemned again. Jesus hung judged, condemned and punished in our place on that cross, so we could be perfectly forgiven, cleansed and blameless (Colossians 1:22).
