The Good News? No condemnation, no punishment. Forever reconciled with God

May 29, 2018 Reading Time: < 1 minute

Romans 8:33

Fear can hinder, steal the joy of life and make you sick. Do not judge yourself because you (unfortunately) sin and fail again and again. Jesus came for that; He was broken for you and executed.

  • You are no longer accused by God (Romans 8: 1)
  • You are blameless and holy before and for God (Colossians 1:22)
  • God no longer sees your sins (Hebrews 10:17) because He saw them and punished them in Jesus

There is no more accusation

Do not condemn yourself. Do not let religious people make you feel guilty, but look at Him who has washed you clean and forever reconciled you with God. You no longer need to fear accusation or even punishment (1 John 4:18).

  • Don’t condemn yourself. You are forgiven.
  • How to have peace with God

“Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one—for God himself has given us right standing with himself. Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us.” (Romans 8:33-34; NLT)

That is why John wrote 2,000 years ago: “I am writing to you, dear children, because your sins have been forgiven on account of his name.” (1 John 2:12; NIV)

Enjoy your glorious relationship with your Heavenly Father. Continue to develop your personal relationship with Him. You will be astonished that more and more wonderful things are happening in your life and you sin less and less.
