Nobody can hide from God. We can’t, just like Adam and Eve couldn’t

July 29, 2018 Reading Time: < 1 minute

We all sin - have you accepted Jesus?
It was literally perfect paradise. But unfortunately, our ancestors Adam and Eve were seduced by the devil to disobey God. Result: Sin came into perfect creation.

God knows everything

“Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked” (Genesis 3:7; NIV) This does not mean that Adam and Eve were naked, but it is expressed that God sees what they did.

Bible explains Bible. Paul also points out that no one can hide from God: “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.” (Hebrews 4:13; NIV)

Does God know that you have the sacrificial Lamb Jesus?

There are two possibilities: either God looks at you and your works … hav fun in hell one day because through works no one has ever managed to become righteous before God.

Or you have accepted Jesus as your sacrificial Lamb, in Whom God has punished all your sins once and for all. So that you will never be condemned again.

  • God sees you through the perfect Jesus

For the sacrifices of the Old Covenant, the priest only inspected the sacrificial animal (which must be perfect and spotless by God’s standards — see Leviticus 1:3 or 22:22), but the priest did not inspect the sinner who sacrificed the sacrificial animal to pay for their guilt. Just like the priest did not inspect the sinner in the Old Covenant, so it is in the New Covenant: God does not inspect us, but forgives all our sins because our sacrificial Lamb (Jesus) is perfect.

Have you already accepted Jesus as your Savior, who completely and forever reconciles you to God? Don’t delay; do it today.
