God's Perfect Faithfulness - Isaiah 25:1 (NIV)

Have you ever met a person who is dependable and responsible? Always on time; always keeps their word. But even the most dependable person has flaws and is bound to fail. God is not that way. You can always depend on God.

The Bible describes God’s works as done in “perfect faithfulness.”

“Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago.” (Isaiah 25:1; NIV)

When God makes a promise to you in His Word, the Bible, He keeps it. Whatever you’re believing God for, remind yourself of His perfect faithfulness. People are great, but they will never be a perfect example of what God is truly like. Even the most dependable person you know will never be as dependable and faithful as God. His faithfulness is perfect.

Say (!) this out loud: Heavenly Father, I want to trust You. Help me grow my faith in You every single day and trust You more and more. Show me Your perfect faithfulness in Your Word, the Bible, and remind me of Your faithfulness all throughout the day. (or, of course, in your own words)
