Take refuge in the Lord - Psalm 5:12 (NIV)

Does God hold back anything good from you? No. God wants you to be comprehensively taken care of, blessed. The devil steals and destroys. Jesus says the following about the devil: He “… comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (Jesus in John 10:10; NIV).

“But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you.” (Psalm 5:12; NIV)

That does not mean that in this world we are not exposed to spiritual attacks. But it does mean this: we have overcome it (through Jesus). Nothing and no one can ever separate you from God’s grace and protection. Now that’s something to be happy about.

Does everything manifest itself automatically? No, you have to believe it. It happens to you according to your faith. Faith is — as here gravity here on Earth — the all-determining law in God’s kingdom.

With your faith you have access to God’s glorious, comprehensive grace for your life. That is what Jesus took care of. “through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God.” (Romans 5:2; NIV)
Speak your faith! That’s so important.

Watch over your words. Do not say anything negative like ‘nobody likes me’, ‘I cannot do it’. But say something like ‘God helps me. I am not afraid.’ or ‘God supplies me. I will not lack anything.’.

Search for promises that apply to your situation in God’s Word (the Bible). Then say these promises out loud. And watch how God works for you more and more.
