We don’t have to be discouraged

September 4, 2018 Reading Time: < 1 minute

Psalm 16:8 (NLT)

If God is somewhere far off in the distance in your thinking, you should not be surprised that the results don’t look very good. God and His help for you must be your Plan A (not Plan B…or Plan Z as a last resort).

Is your heart filled with joy?

Put God in the center of your thinking. Be aware that He is always with you. We don’t have to feel it; we have to believe it (because it happens to us according to our faith, not our feelings).

You can look forward to it. Praise God with gratitude for His glorious presence.

  • A very present help in time of need

“I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure” (Psalm 16:8-9; NIV) • Or as it is said in another Bible translation, “I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me. No wonder my heart is glad, and I rejoice. My body rests in safety.” (Psalm 16:8-9; NLT) • Sanctify them through… car accidents, chronic illnesses and flooded basements?
