Who owns the gold of the world?

The ownership is clear: “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it” (Psalm 24:1; NIV)

Why does all the gold belong to God? He created it: “The gold of that land is good …” (Genesis 2:12; NIV)
