We are not reconciled to God and saved from hell because of anything we have done. We don’t have to go to hell; instead, we can have an eternity of eternities of fellowship with God because Jesus shed His blood for us:
“In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace”
(Ephesians 1:7; NIV)
How sad it is for God and Jesus in face of the greatest sacrifice ever made in human history, when religious Christians keep coming back and begging for forgiveness of their sins (as is done in “The Lord’s Prayer” — a prayer under the Old Covenant).
